## 1\. Scope and provider policies

### 1.1 Scope.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to Customer, authorized users, agencies, and the agents or workflows they configure. You must comply with this policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, and the policies of every connected service used for the activity.

### 1.2 Provider requirements.

Review the rules for each advertising or AI provider, including restrictions on content, targeting, data use, products, geography, and regulated categories. A model’s willingness to generate content or a platform’s initial approval does not establish that the activity is lawful or permitted.

## 2\. Lawful products, claims, and rights

### 2.1 Prohibited advertising.

- **Do not promote** unlawful products or services, run scams, misrepresent a business or offer, or publish false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims.
- **Do not invent** reviews, endorsements, qualifications, certifications, before-and-after results, or performance statistics.
- **Disclose** material terms, paid endorsements, and limitations when required.

### 2.2 Evidence and licenses.

Have an appropriate basis for factual claims before publication. Obtain the rights, licenses, permissions, and releases needed for text, images, voices, likenesses, trademarks, data, and other material. Regulated products and services require the applicable qualifications, approvals, disclosures, and audience restrictions.

### 2.3 Sensitive information.

Do not submit Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Olympus is not designed to receive it, and Etho is not your business associate under the customer agreement. Do not collect or disclose personal or sensitive data without the permissions and lawful basis required for the intended use.

### 2.4 Synthetic testimonials and claims.

Do not fabricate customer experiences or results using AI, actors, or edited media. Review the complete advertising impression, including performance, health, earnings, and lifestyle implications. Follow Terms Sections 4.5–4.9 before publication. A disclosure does not excuse deception or replace substantiation.

## 3\. Targeting, tracking, and messaging

### 3.1 Consent and contact lists.

- Olympus requires **permission-based outreach**: only email, text, or call people who have agreed to hear from you.
- **Retain evidence** appropriate to the channel, purpose, and recipient, and promptly honor opt-outs and applicable suppression or do-not-contact lists.
- **Do not use purchased, rented, or unlawfully scraped contact lists**.
- An imported contact, an existing customer record, or a connected account **does not by itself establish permission**.
- **Meet applicable** sender-identification, registration, and recordkeeping requirements.

### 3.2 Audiences and measurement.

Do not use targeting or exclusions to unlawfully discriminate, exploit sensitive personal characteristics, or evade age or geographic restrictions. Use pixels, cookies, conversion data, customer lists, and other tracking tools only with the required notices, permissions, and rights.

### 3.3 Genuine activity.

Do not fabricate clicks, impressions, leads, conversions, engagement, or attribution data, conceal required reporting, or manipulate a platform’s advertising auction, billing, or measurement systems.

### 3.4 Delivery and customer campaigns.

Configure sender identity and opt-out handling for each enabled channel. Review consent withdrawals that do not use an exact keyword, and preserve records supporting your sending authority. Carrier or provider acceptance does not prove lawful consent, and delivery is not guaranteed. Customer-operated campaigns are separate from Etho’s own sales or marketing messages; permission for one is not permission for the other. Applicable third-party charges remain governed by the agreement.

## 4\. Harmful and deceptive content

### 4.1 Harm and exploitation.

Do not create or distribute content that exploits or sexualizes minors, sexual content depicting a real person without consent, threats, harassment, unlawful hate, or incitement to violence.

### 4.2 Impersonation and deception.

- **Do not impersonate** another person or organization, use deceptive deepfakes, conduct phishing, spread political disinformation, or mislead people about who is communicating with them.
- **Make required disclosures** about synthetic media, sponsorship, and AI interactions.

## 5\. Account restrictions and platform integrity

### 5.1 No circumvention.

Do not use cloaking, misleading destinations, substituted identities, replacement accounts, or other methods to bypass review, advertiser verification, an ad rejection, a suspension, or an account ban. Do not continue restricted activity through another client, workspace, or integration.

### 5.2 Security and access.

Do not obtain access without authority, distribute malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with another customer, share accounts to evade limits, manipulate usage or billing, or scrape or reverse engineer Olympus except where applicable law expressly permits it. Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly.

## 6\. Agent permissions and spending

### 6.1 Authorized funds and accounts.

Grant agents access only to accounts, payment methods, and funds you are authorized to use. Do not direct an agent to incur unauthorized charges, exceed an express client authorization, conceal spending, evade a hard limit, or disable a required approval step.

### 6.2 Responsible supervision.

Review permissions and applicable platform spending rules before enabling autonomous activity. Monitor the actions and charges you authorize, and promptly pause affected activity when you discover a material error or violation. Spending risks, budget behavior, and responsibility for charges are set out in Terms of Service Sections 3 and 5.

### 6.3 No compliance assurance.

Training, screening, and suggested practices do not authorize prohibited conduct or relieve you of your obligations. A lack of warnings is not approval. You remain responsible for reviewing Advertising Materials and the legality of your business and instructions.

## 7\. Reporting and enforcement

### 7.1 Enforcement.

Etho may investigate suspected violations, request substantiation or proof of authority, remove or disable content, pause actions, restrict integrations, or suspend or terminate access as provided in the Terms. Where appropriate or legally required, Etho may report unlawful conduct to a provider or competent authority. We do not promise to detect every violation.

### 7.2 Allocation of responsibility.

Enforcement by Etho does not guarantee that a third party will approve or reinstate your account. Liability, payment obligations, and indemnification for covered third-party claims are governed by Terms of Service Sections 4–7 and 14–15, including their limitations and exceptions.

### 7.3 Contact.

Report suspected misuse or a policy issue to [hello@etho.net](mailto:hello@etho.net). Include the affected campaign or workspace and supporting information. Do not include credentials or payment-card details.
