How we work

Remote first, never alone

Olympus is a remote company. Even if we open offices one day, the core of how we operate will stay remote, because we believe in it as a way of working, not a perk.

Remote means we default to async: a written brief instead of a meeting, a Slack thread instead of a stand-up, a ticket in Linear instead of a whiteboard. It does not mean we work alone. We keep our hours overlapping across the Americas, meet in person twice a year, and switch to a call the moment something is urgent or unclear.

Agents do the busywork

We run Olympus on Olympus. Weekly reports, research, first drafts and status updates go to an agent first, so people spend their time on judgment: strategy, taste and the conversations that move a client forward.

Confidence and conviction are welcome here. Ego isn't. It slows collaboration, buries good ideas and wears people down. We would rather be curious: share what we believe, and stay open to being wrong.

Help yourself first

We need each other for plenty, but not for answers that are already written down. Before you ask a teammate, give it an honest try:

• Read the code before asking how a feature works
• Ask an Olympus agent for research, drafts or translations

Everything requires iteration

Your first attempt may be completely wrong, and that's fine. Share half-finished work early, especially internally. The question you have wrestled with all day is often answered in ten seconds by a fresh pair of eyes.

That's why we judge work by how well feedback was asked for and used, not by how good the first draft was. Get feedback quickly, and be ready to make your work better with it.
